Iranian karatekas due in Baku

Tehran, April 8 - All-star karate team of Iran will travel to Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, to take part in the international tournament `presidential cup'.
Iran's six-member team is to compete in Baku on April 19-20.
The champion of each weight receives 1,000 dollars and the first- and second-placed karatekas win 500 and 250 dollars respectively.
Azerbaijan's karate federation has asked the Iranian federation to include a world medalist in its participating team.
