Iranian women draw first chess round

New Delhi, April 9 - Iranian woman drew the first round against Indian women in the opening day of Asian chess tournament in the western Indian state of Rajasthan on Tuesday.
In the women's category, Iranian Shadi Paridar won the first round against the Indian Esha Karvade, while Atoussa Pourkashian lost to Saheli Dhar of India. Another Iranian player Nina Hemmatizadeh drew with Indian, Anupam Ghokhale.
The results were 1.5/1.5.
In the Iranian men category, Qaemmaqami drew with Sadavasovd of Kazakhstan, Morteza Mahjoub drew with Kosturp Pawal of Kazakhstan, Morteza darban lost against Ibaaev of Kazakhstan and Arash Roghani lost to Kostinrope of Kazkhstan.
