Raul the best in the world: Ferguson

Madrid, April 9 - Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson hailed Raul as the world's best player after the Spanish striker's two goals helped Real Madrid to a 3-1 victory at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.
Raul followed up Luis Figo's opener with two brilliant left-foot strikes to put Real 3-0 ahead in the quarter-finalfirst leg, only for Ruud Van Nistelrooy to hand the English side a lifeline with a close-range header.
Real had Ronaldo in attack and Figo and Zinedine Zidane in midfield, three of the most expensive players in the world, but Ferguson was most impressed with home-grown Raul.
