Iranian hang glider pilot killed

Ankara, Aug 2 - An Iranian tourist died while flying a kite in Turkey's Fathiyyeh southern tourism resort on Friday.
According to Turkey's Ikhlas News Agency, the deceased, Mohammad Yousefi Ramandi, crashed into the sea with his kite near Turkey's Fathiyyeh tourism township.
The news agency added, "Ramandi was engaged in acrobatic moves with his kite, when it crashed into the sea, and since the kite was too heavy, he drowned before managing to release himself and swim to safety."
The Iranian victim was taken ashore and transferred to Fathiyye hospital, but he passed away despite the medical team's work that lasted about an hour.
Turkey's popular Fathiyyeh tourism resort is on the Mediterranean Sea coast.
