Ismael agrees Werder Bremen deal

Bremen, June 24 - Strasbourg defender Valerien Ismael has reached an agreement to play with German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen next season.
The German club want to sign the 28-year-old on a one year loan deal with an option to buy for two additional years.
"Ismael was here today for talks and we reached an agreement with the player," Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs said.
"We still have to reach agreement with Racing Strasbourg," added the former German international striker.
Allofs said he had been impressed by the player during a recent visit to Strasbourg, and were looking for a replacement for former Dutch international defender Frank Verlaat who has gone to Austria Vienna.
