Ferry collides off the Bahamas

Washington, Aug 3 - Four people were killed Saturday when a cargo ship and a ferry collided off the Bahamas, media reports said.
Sixteen other people were injured.
The cause of the crash between the 50-metre-long cargo ship and the 30-metre ferry was not immediately clear.
The ferry had about 190 people aboard, and all the passengers and crew involved in the collision 14 kilometres southwest of Eleuthera island were accounted for.
The injured were taken by the U.S. coast guard on helicopters to hospital in Nassau.
