Blast destroys car in Baghdad

Baghdad, Aug 3 - A civilian car smouldered on the road to Baghdad airport on Sunday and witnesses said it had been destroyed in an explosion.
U.S. troops blocked off the road, causing long traffic jams, and prevented journalists from reaching the site.
On Thursday, a U.S. soldier was killed and three were wounded when their vehicle hit a landmine on the airport road.
